Welcome to The Control Center, the first integrated outpatient treatment center for Lifestyle Addictions (also known as Behavioral Addictions, Process Addictions or Impulse Control Disorders)
The Control Center combines traditional twelve step philosophy with eastern methods of self control (stress reduction, anger management) with cutting edge medical science. Every patient is assessed from a medical, psychological, spiritual and nutritional perspective.

We offer four primary outpatient programs:

Behavioral Addiction Program (sex, love, gambling, shopping, food, videogame addictions)

Hollywood N.O.S. Program

Spiritual Health Program
Each program is customized for the individual on a monthly basis. The average length of stay varies from 1 to 6 months.

Alternative therapy referrals may include: Yoga, Biofeedback, Neurofeedback, EMDR, Body Work or Acupuncture.
Research has shown that lifestyle/behavioral addictions are regulated by the same neural circuitry as drug addictions (reward circuit pathway) with the most effective form of treatment being multi-disciplinary. The ability to control impulses, decrease stress and enhance connection and relationships is paramount to recovery. |
